Today I found out my right molar tooth was dead. I now have the choice of keeping it and having shit injected into its roots to keep it in my mouth, or I could get rid of it and have an empty space in my gum and in my heart... Oh! The drama. Aside from this dental quandary, a lot of my days seem repetitive these days. I was watching the DVD included in the Limited Edition for the new Incubus album. In one of their gigs in Lollapalooza, Brandon Boyd was wearing a shirt that said: Same Old Shit, Different Day. At first I thought it was about seeing your own life waste away, about doing the same things over and over. But now that I think about it, it's actually saying a lot about history repeating. Which reminds me of their song entitled Made For TV Movie: It fell like a tear from my eye, Flying machine so up high. Well... There goes the neighborhood. A scene set to singe innocence, Wheave, unhinge and pit against Like every made for TV movie should. Hello!? I'm trying to focus But my eyes deceive me. Focus. I'm witnessing history... repeating. I found out what the album title means, in the band's own words: "You've heard the term 'a murder of crows' before? That's what it's making reference to. A Crow Left Of The Murder is basically an analogy for someone standing to the left or to the side of the pack, I guess you could say. It could have just as easily been called An Owl Left Of The Parliament or A Wolf Left Of The Pack."
